China is considering issuing over 10 trillion yuan (approximately 1.4 trillion dollars) in extra debt to revitalize its struggling economy. This fiscal plan is expected to be further strengthened by the impact of the November 5 US election. The Chinese National People's Congress is planning to approve this fiscal plan at its meeting from November 4 to 8, which includes 6 trillion yuan in special sovereign debt, mainly to help local governments tackle hidden debt risks. As economic pressures escalate, China's stimulus plans have gradually escalated, but have yet to reach the high levels seen during the 2008 financial crisis. If Trump wins the election, it is expected that Beijing will announce more forceful fiscal measures to tackle the economic challenges that will follow.
