Russia and Belarus have reached an agreement to cancel roaming charges between the two countries. As of March 1, 2025, mobile users from one alliance state to another will receive free calls and at least 5 GB of internet traffic at a cost comparable to their home network for at least 300 minutes. According to the Belarusian Prime Minister, the signed document will be ready for approval by the presidents of both countries. The head of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers stated that this move will enable people to reduce expenses, communicate more frequently and affordably, and "further strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation" between the two nations.
