In a move to crack down on piracy and emulators, Nintendo has taken significant action against two individuals who have been involved in distributing and streaming unlicensed Switch games.

**Ryujinx Emulator**

The Ryujinx emulator, which allowed players to play Switch games on PCs, disappeared from the internet last month. However, it appears that Nintendo has taken control of the website's domain name, preventing the emulator from being re-launched.

This latest development follows a request from Nintendo to the emulator's lead developer in October, asking them to stop the project and remove any related assets.

**Jesse Keighin: Pirate Streamer in Court**

Meanwhile, Nintendo has launched a lawsuit against Jesse Keighin, a popular streamer who has been accused of continually streaming pirated Switch games on various platforms. Since 2022, Keighin has streamed over 50 unlicensed Nintendo games, with a total of 10 games being broadcast on multiple occasions.

Despite receiving multiple DMCA takedown notices, Keighin continued to stream the games, even attempting to profit from them by promoting a CashApp account. He has also been accused of sharing links to ROM repositories, emulators, and pirated game keys.

Nintendo is seeking $150,000 in damages for each copyrighted work that was streamed, as well as additional fees for the circumvention of copyright protection measures.
