On November 11th, multiple users reported experiencing payment disruptions on Alipay, with some unable to make payments, receiving error messages such as 'payment failed', 'transaction creation failed', and 'service failure'. Additionally, some users reported issues with their Savings Account (Yue Bao) withdrawals not being credited and Huss money (Huabei) repayments being deducted successfully but not cleared.
**Status Update**
Alipay's technical team has confirmed that the issue was caused by a local fault in the system's messaging library, which affected the payment functionality for some users. However, this issue did not compromise the security of users' funds. The problem was resolved by 10:50 AM on the same day.
