Due to the complications associated with updating the kernel, which is a critical component of our system, I have opted to use a workaround by merging version 1.01 of the kernel with version 1.02 of the kernel manager. This approach seemed to be the most feasible solution given the constraints. Nevertheless, the main question remains: will the addon button function as expected in this configuration? Is it possible to use the addon button in its usual manner while running the system with this merged kernel and manager setup?
