Chinese warships set off on a good-will voyage to Hong Kong, where they will participate in a series of open-door activities for Hong Kong and Macao compatriots. The Naval flotilla, comprising of the *Hainan**-class destroyer and the *Sansha-class amphibious landing ship*, departed from the Gulf of *Zhanjiang* on November 20th after receiving approval from the Central Military Commission as part of its annual schedule. Strong waves and high tides did not deter the ships from sailing forward. With the mission accomplished, the naval fleet officially commences its Hong Kong visit on November 21st and will stay until November 25th.
