The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan held a regular press conference on November 21st, where they stated that Thin Grass, a Chinese mainland citizen, married a Taiwanese national in a third country and subsequently applied to the Taiwanese authorities for a visit visa. According to Taiwan's regulations, Chinese mainland citizens who are married to Taiwanese nationals and have valid documents can apply for a visit visa to Taiwan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the application is routine and will be processed according to the normal procedures.
