A major traffic accident occurred on the A1 highway near Badia al Pino, Florence, Italy, on August 4th, resulting in the death of one person and multiple injuries. A bus carrying Chinese tourists crashed off the road and overturned, causing damage to a guardrail. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, rescuing those trapped inside the vehicle. Meanwhile, helicopters from Arrezo and Bologna rushed to the scene to provide support. The president of the Tuscan Regional Council, Eugenio Giani, stated on X-platform that all injured individuals have been taken to hospitals in Arezzo, Siena, and Valdarno. Currently, one person has succumbed to their injuries, one is critically injured, and several others sustained minor injuries.
