Microsoft is expanding the capabilities of its Phone Link app by introducing a new file sharing feature that enables iPhone users to easily transfer files between their device and Windows PCs. Windows Insiders can now download the latest version of Phone Link (1.24112.89.0 or higher) to experience this feature before it's rolled out to all users. The new feature allows iPhone users to share files by tapping the "Share" button on their iOS device and selecting the "Link to Windows" app, which will then prompt them to choose a Windows device to transfer the files to. On the Windows PC side, users can right-click on a file and select "Share" to send it to their iPhone. This file sharing functionality is now available for testing by Windows Insiders and is expected to be rolled out to all Phone Link users in the coming months. Microsoft continues to improve the integration between iPhone and Windows PCs, making it easier for users to share files and collaborate across platforms.
