The 'Gathering of Overseas Chinese to Support the Development of Hunan' conference, jointly organized by the Hunan Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation and the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, has concluded in Chenzhou, Hunan. The two-day conference attracted more than 60 overseas Chinese entrepreneurs and dignitaries, who collectively signed 12 significant investment agreements worth 55.8 billion yuan, significantly boosting the city's economy.

The conference saw the signing of several key projects, including a 2,000-tonne per year calcium carbonate waste resource utilization project, a high-end packaging project, and a 198 hospital and nursing home complex.
