WeChat has recently launched a new feature called "Author's Voice" which allows users to listen to public account articles read aloud by the author. When users click on the "Listen to the Full Article" feature, they can hear the author's voice reading the article.
To use this feature, authors need to download a "Subscribe Number Assistant" app and go to the "Settings" page to record example sentences. The example sentences will mirror the author's tone and emotion. Each public account can create multiple different voices.
This feature is currently in a grey testing phase and is expected to be gradually rolled out in the near future.
