The Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, held a meeting to discuss the removal of access restrictions on popular foreign online platforms, including WhatsApp and Google Play. Sattar Salamatian, Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said, 'Today, the first step has been taken to remove internet restrictions.'
