Tesla's CyberCab, a completely autonomous electric vehicle, has been showcased at the Petersen Automotive Museum. The car features a unique design, with no wheel covers and a braking system similar to that of the Model 3 Performance. The most eye-catching feature, however, is the red brake caliper on the rear axle. As a fully autonomous vehicle, the CybrCab has no steering wheel or pedals, making it more practical for remote control in special situations.

The CyberCab can be controlled wirelessly by a control operator, who can monitor the vehicle's computer and make precise adjustments. Alternatively, the vehicle can be controlled via a wired connection using a controller similar to a gaming hand controller.

Tesla plans to begin public road testing of the CyberCab in the first quarter of 2025, with the initial vehicles featuring a safety driver on board. The company aims to set new standards in the autonomous driving industry.
