Intel has decided to remove the screen recording feature from its newly updated graphics software. The reason for this decision is due to a low user interest in this feature. The screen recording feature was previously part of the Arc Control software but has been replaced by a new suite of software with the release of the Arc Battlemage graphics cards.

The screen recording feature allowed users to record gameplay and stream it directly to platforms such as Twitch without the need for additional software like OBS, Steam, or Windows GameBar. It also enabled users to record highlights and share them directly on social media.

Intel has stated that if users are interested in this feature, they can continue to use OBS, Steam, or Windows GameBar. The support team has even hinted that they may bring back the screen recording feature if users start voting for it.

The move has left some users disappointed and wondering if this is the end of an era for screen recording and streaming on Intel graphics cards.
