Curl's chief developer, Daniel Stenberg, announced on December 21 that the project will no longer support the experimental Rust-Hyper backend due to low interest and demand from both end-users and developers. The decision was made after weighing the costs of maintaining the feature against its utility and found that it was not financially viable. As a result, the Rust-Hyper backend will be removed from the Curl project.
