Our team was established in August last year, and we hired a new leader who had no prior experience in leading a project. At the time, the old boss was away on a business trip, and our team had no idea what to do. The new leader didn't understand what he was supposed to do, and would often call meetings to discuss nonsensical things. The project had already been delayed for over a year, and the team was demotivated. The leader even threatened to fire some team members if they didn't meet the deadline. When the old boss returned, he was surprised to find out that the project was in shambles. He fired the leader and asked me to take on the responsibility of leading the project. However, I didn't have any experience in project management. The old boss told me that if I wanted to take on the task, I needed to come up with a project plan and proposal. I spent days researching and came up with a plan. The plan included defining the project scope, identifying the project timeline, allocating resources, and determining the budget. I also included a list of tasks to be completed in each stage of the project. The old boss seems satisfied with my proposal, and I am excited to start working on the project. As a 6-year experienced front-end developer, I understand the importance of a good project plan and the need to allocate resources effectively. I believe that with the right plan and execution, our team can finally deliver the project on time.
