A South Korean passenger plane crashed at a domestic airport in the country's southern region on December 29, killing at least 125 people. The incident occurred when a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, operated by Eastar Jet, overshot the runway at the Mokpo Airport in South Korea's South Jeolla province and burst into flames.
