As a technophile and entrepreneur, I've found it challenging to find like-minded individuals to discuss and explore the vast world of technology. With a background in industrial research and development, I'm passionate about various fields, including artificial intelligence, robotics, pet robots, psychology, personality, blockchain, cryptocurrency trading, reading, mathematics, book clubs, and sports.
I enjoy discussing the present and future, exploring the impact of technology on civilization's development, and imagining a future where technology shapes our lives. With experience as a founder of an education-themed card game company, I'm now a full-time employee of a Hangzhou-based tech company. I'm eager to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and innovators to collaborate and create something new.
In my observations, the past decade was about the rapid growth of the internet, while the present decade is about the rapid development of artificial intelligence. I predict that the next decade will be about the rapid growth of smart devices and robots, followed by the blockchain.
The challenges that hindered the growth of the internet were material costs, which led to the widespread adoption of computers and the information age. Similarly, the growth of AI was hindered by computational power and data, which were addressed by the accumulation of internet-era data. Machine learning development depends on AI and hardware advancements.
I see a huge opportunity in developing human-like robots to solve real-world production problems, but I believe that integrating existing technologies to create pet robots is a more feasible direction. Combining AI, dynamic robots, emotional algorithms, and cuddly, soft bodies can solve human emotional needs, which is an underserved market. I couldn't find a company pursuing this approach yet.
I'd love to start a book club in Hangzhou, focusing on economic history, particularly during Japan's economic downturn. Given China's similar economic history, I believe studying this topic can provide valuable insights for the future.
If you're interested in discussing technology, innovation, or entrepreneurship, or if you'd like to join a book club, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me.
