A fire incident occurred on the evening of August 9th in the Ylaya Street, Ermita District of Manila. According to the report of the Bureau of Fire Protection, a total of 18 volunteer firefighters were injured in the incident. The fire started at 7:51 pm and reached level 2 alarm at 8:14 pm. The origin of the fire was from a repair or storage area on the second floor. A total of 65 fire trucks and 50 volunteer firefighters responded to the incident, including 14 fire trucks from the Bureau of Fire Protection and 1 fire truck from the city government. Four ambulances also arrived at the scene. The estimated damage of the fire incident is around 19,985,000 pesos.
