My ideal is to have a simplified charging bundle consisting of a gallium nitride fast charger and a dual-function C2C PD fast charging cable which has a C2L adapter on one end, thus enabling charging of all portable devices. Unfortunately, reality often bites. I recently purchased six cables from three different sellers on TB, all of which are quad-function cables that come with an A2C converter adapter. Almost all of them only support A-type to Lightning conversion, but not C-type to Lightning conversion via PD fast charging. I used the phrase 'almost' deliberately, as two of the cables are actually dual-line packages of the same model. Only one of the cables can be used for C2L charging. The charging speed is unexpectedly slow at 5V1A, which is far from the 27W claimed for C2L charging. Are there any reliable 2-in-1 cables that can fast charge Apple devices?
