I'm thrilled to be sharing my latest gaming PC build with you all! With the imminent release of World of Warcraft's 11.0 patch, I've decided to upgrade my rig to handle the demands of high-maintenance raiding. After scouring the market for the best components, I've finally assembled a beast of a machine that's sure to please even the most discerning gamers. Here's a rundown of my build:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
Cooling: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5
Motherboard: Asus Strix B650-A Wi-Fi
RAM: Crucial Trident Z5 64GB DDR5-6400 CL32
Storage: Unused Samsung p31 SSD
Graphics Card: Asus Dual EVO GeForce RTX 4070 Super
Case: Asus PA602
Power Supply: Lian Li EDGE 1000W
With this rig, I'm confident that I can handle 4K gaming at 60 frames per second without breaking a sweat. Additionally, I've configured my setup to allow for multiple virtual machines to run simultaneously, making it perfect for work or play. My priority is to keep the noise levels down, which is why I opted for the Ryzen 7 9700X over the Intel Core i9-7800X. Finally, I chose the Lian Li EDGE 1000W power supply because it comes with braided cables and a smart fan controller.
The total cost for this build comes out to around $2100, which is a reasonable price considering the top-of-the-line components. I'm excited to get started and begin exploring the world of Azeroth once more!
