Current Status: The current mouse used is the Logitech M720, which has been in service for 5 years. The outer shell is worn out and the plastic inner shell is visible. The scroll wheel is damaged and often falls off in gray-green pieces. The mouse wheel has to be forced to rotate and often stops functioning. Expectation: I would like a new mouse with the following features: 1) non-skin-friendly outer shell, 2) non-metal scroll wheel with two modes like Logitech, 3) support for Mac shortcuts, 4) Bluetooth connectivity, 5) ability to connect to multiple devices, 6) forward and backward navigation keys, 7) rechargeable battery, and 8) a price below $500. I do not play games. I am open to suggestions from v friends for alternative solutions.
