On a recent Saturday, I discovered that my vehicle had been vandalized while parked in a community parking lot. Upon reporting the incident to the police, they claimed that the damage was intentional, possibly caused by a deliberate scratching by another motorist. Alternatively, it may have been accidentally scratched by an electric vehicle. Despite requesting surveillance footage to investigate the incident, it proved to be too far away to capture clear images. The police asked me to file a claim with the property management company, citing the need for repairs to the parking lot's facilities. I subsequently reached out to the property management company on the same day, but have yet to receive a response.
