As a heavy user of Bilibili, I have come to realize that the platform's commercialization and user environment are not optimistic. Despite this, I still couldn't find a suitable alternative to the platform for long videos. Since creators' income is not high, they have to rely on the platform for commercial collaborations.
In this process, I have come across some interesting ad creatives and placements, as well as advertising products that I have used myself. However, most of the time, Bilibili is dominated by a few advertising products and a few well-known e-commerce platforms, with a high repetition rate.
This post is not intended to encourage people to boycott Bilibili's ads, but rather to provide an option to block them, giving users the choice. When high-quality content becomes free, paid options become a reluctant choice, leaving creators with only ads as an option.
