On August 4, 2024, OK League organized a unique and heartwarming one-day outing to Hamilton Gardens, bringing warmth and unforgettable memories to many families. In the early morning, participants gathered at Northcote Center, wearing white hats that not only added a touch of ceremony to the event but also symbolized purity and beauty in everyone's hearts. The bus left on schedule, filled with everyone's anticipation and excitement, and headed towards the picturesque Hamilton Gardens. Upon arrival, participants immersed themselves in the breathtaking scenery of the different themed gardens. The Italian Renaissance garden transported visitors to ancient Europe, while the Chinese Scholar's Garden showcased the richness of traditional culture. The colorful Indian Char Bagh garden offered a visual feast, and the tropical garden with its lush vegetation and unique flowers felt like stepping into a peaceful rainforest. The Egyptian garden's ancient symbols and art elements exuded a sense of mysterious history. In the afternoon, participants gathered to share a picnic lunch, enjoying good food and exchanging travel tips under the shade of the trees. They not only felt a deep connection with nature but also with each other. The occasion was not only a celebration of friendship but also a moment of mutual understanding. In the late afternoon, the group visited Hamilton Lake Domain, where the serene lake scenery was like a poem. Black swans glided effortlessly across the lake, and a mother duck led her little ducklings in a joyful play, as if welcoming distant guests. Sitting by the lake, the group felt a sense of lingering quiet and warmth. As the sun set, the day's journey came to a close. OK League will continue to strive for creating more vibrant and engaging activities for its members and their families, writing a more beautiful and moving chapter in the years to come.
