The General Administration of Customs of China released official data on June 9, indicating that the country's total value of goods trade for the first five months of the year reached 17.94 trillion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 2.5%. This growth trend continued throughout the period. In May, the total value of goods trade reached 3.81 trillion yuan, with a growth rate of 2.7%. Notably, China's exports in May totaled 2.28 trillion yuan, registering a growth rate of 6.3%. A closer examination of the data reveals that China's exports to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the European Union (EU), Africa, and Central Asia experienced significant growth rates of 16.9%, 13.7%, 35.3%, and 8.8%, respectively. These figures suggest a positive trend in China's trade relations with these regions.
