I've been using my old computer for six years now, and it's no longer meeting my expectations, especially after playing Skyline 2 recently, which presented a significant performance challenge. I decided to consult with a pet store owner, who coincidentally had a setup that I liked, and was willing to configure it to my preference, using the ASRock X670E motherboard as the base. The components were: AMD 9950X CPU, Gigabyte 4090D GPU, MSI Gaming Z690 motherboard, Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB x2 4000MHz DDR5 RAM, Western Digital Black SN850 1TB NVMe SSD, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000W power supply, and Valkyrie V360 TUF RGB CPU Liquid cooler. Additionally, I opted for a custom cable and a 360mm fan. The total cost with the latest components and labor came out to be approximately 26,913 yuan. After searching online, I found that a similar configuration could be had for around 2500 yuan. Given that the 9950X CPU is still pending official release and there is no information on pricing, I'm weighing my options and considering purchasing the parts separately and building the PC myself. I'd appreciate any advice from fellow V series owners: should I go with the pre-built configuration or wait for the official release of the 9950X and build it myself?
