I have been experiencing slow network speeds when accessing certain websites directly from my PC. For example, weibo.com, huya.com, v2ex.com, and github.com. The problem is not consistent, sometimes the websites load slowly or fail to open entirely. On the other hand, when accessing these websites through the Huajue proxy, the speeds are much faster and more stable.

I suspect that there may be a relationship between this issue and the configuration of my Clash proxy software. When I use the software provided by the VPN to connect, the speeds are much faster and more stable. However, when I use the Clash proxy, the speeds are inconsistent and sometimes slow.

I have also noticed that some websites require a DNS resolution, which sometimes fails. I am not sure how to modify the DNS settings, whether it should be done on the router's WAN settings or the Clash software. I have tried modifying the settings, but the results are not satisfactory.

I would appreciate any help or advice on the following:

1. How to troubleshoot and resolve issues with websites not loading properly?
2. What is the best practice for configuring Clash proxy software?
3. How to modify the DNS settings to ensure they are effective?
4. How do the network speeds compare between China Telecom and China Unicom?
