When refurbishing an abandoned desktop PC for a NAS build on an ASUS H410 motherboard with an Intel i3-10100F CPU, I encountered a dilemma. The system fails to boot without a discrete graphics card, but running it continuously with the integrated graphics would consume considerable power. I'm looking for ways to safely disable the integrated graphics, allowing the NAS to boot without them, while preserving the option to use the integrated graphics when needed. I plan to install Debian directly on the system. Are there any effective methods to achieve this?
