As I sit here, reflecting on the past few months, I am struck by the realization that this summer has been particularly long. In fact, I would argue that it began with the river music festival in the spring and ended with the Can music festival just a week ago. The warmth of the summer has lingered, and I found myself still wearing shorts and feeling the sea breeze on my skin in early October. The Can music festival was a highlight of the summer, and I was reluctant to leave the island, feeling as though I was leaving behind a piece of myself. However, I have come to realize that it is a natural part of life to move on and that it is essential to hold onto hope and courage, even in the darkest of times. I am grateful for the music, the friends I made, and the memories we created together. I look forward to the arrival of spring and the new beginnings it will bring.
