Five issues were observed during the use of WPS on Mac and Office 365 on Windows. Firstly, when copying and pasting an Excel table from Windows to Word on Mac, the result showed strange characters due to the encoding problem. Secondly, when inserting dates in PowerPoint on Windows and opening it on Mac, the date format changed to include the time. Thirdly, when using a specific font like Fangsong on a new WPS document on Mac and opening it on Windows, the font might not be recognized. Fourthly, there were version discrepancies when accessing files on OneDrive from both Windows and Mac, despite both systems showing the files as up-to-date. Lastly, when selecting text in Office 365 on Mac, the formatting menu would not pop up. Overall, WPS seems to be more compatible with the company's preferred software, and considering the above-mentioned issues, it may be recommended to use WPS on all devices. However, this poses some challenges in collaboration with colleagues who use Office 365.
