The long-awaited policy for 'Guangdong Cars Heading South' in Hong Kong has finally been officially announced. According to the policy, the first batch of four cities in Guangdong Province, including Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, and Zhongshan, will be opened for Hong Kong-bound vehicles. This move is expected to boost economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two regions. The policy is divided into two parts: the Hong Kong Port Parking Policy and the Guangdong Cars Entering Hong Kong City Policy. The first batch of cities will be opened within the next six months, with the policy to be gradually expanded to other cities in Guangdong Province. This development is seen as a significant step towards further integrating the economies of Guangdong and Hong Kong, and is expected to bring numerous benefits to businesses and individuals in both regions.
