The AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D has been tested by Germans in various workloads, and the results are underwhelming. In CineBench R23, CB R24, Handbrake, 7-Zip, V-Ray 6, and Corona 10, the six-core gaming processor with additional 3D cache loses to processors such as the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Intel Core i5-12600K, and even the AMD Ryzen 5 7500F. This means that the Ryzen 5 7600X3D is not the best choice for professional workloads. However, for gaming, it is still a decent option, especially if you can find it at a reasonable price. Interestingly, the Ryzen 9 9950X is 9.5% faster than the Ryzen 9 7950X in these tests, which shows that the Zen5 architecture is not as bad as thought, but rather designed for workstations, servers, and laptops. The main question now is how the Ryzen 9 9950X with additional 3D cache will perform in games, will it be better than Zen4 or similar to CPUs without additional 3D cache?
