I recently upgraded to the TP-Link BE6500 WiFi 7 router, primarily to phase out my four-year-old Xiaomi AX3600 router. To ensure my Nintendo Switch can also connect to the new router, I set the 5GHz channel to 48. However, I noticed a peculiar issue with my iPhone 14 Pro Max - every 7-10 days, the device would lose connectivity to the router's 5GHz signal. The problem manifested by the device staying connected for a brief period, then dropping back to previously discovered networks without any error prompts. To resolve the issue, I simply forgot the WiFi network and reconnected it by entering the password, only to experience the same problem a few days later. After conducting a WiFi signal analysis in my room, I found that the signal was not being affected by outside interference. The signal strength in my room was -40dB, while the router upstairs had a signal strength of -85dB. I do not believe this could be causing any issues for a normally designed mobile device with an antenna. Additional information is provided below, including two images that demonstrate the signal strength.
