The 12th World Games, to be held in Chengdu, China, has unveiled its official mascots, 'Cibu' and 'Jinzi', representing the concept 'Boundless Sports, Countless Wonders'. The mascots are designed to embody the spirit of sportsmanship, environmental sustainability, and cultural exchange.

The mascots' naming inspiration comes from the Sichuan Province's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. 'Cibu', the panda mascot, symbolizes the region's iconic giant panda, representing innocence, loyalty, and friendship. 'Jinzi', the golden monkey mascot, represents the region's golden monkey, symbolizing intelligence, bravery, and agility.

The World Games will feature 35 major events, 61 minor events, and 254 sub-events, showcasing a diverse range of sports, including basketball, rock climbing, wheelchair rugby, and more. The Games will also emphasize environmental sustainability and conservation, with initiatives to reduce carbon footprint and promote eco-friendly practices.

The 12th World Games is a non-Olympic international multi-sport event, held every four years. This will be the first time the Games are held in China, and it will be a significant milestone for the country's sporting industry.
